If you’ve never microdosed before, we recommend starting with our stackable 125mg capsules to learn how your body responds. Beginning with 62mg (half of a 125mg capsule) or 125mg can be the best start for most individuals. The 250mg dosage is very common and well-liked by many. A 350mg dose should be reserved for those experienced with mushrooms or for those who genuinely need a higher dose due to sensitivity and/or higher body weight. We do not recommend starting with a 350mg dose.

We recommend that beginners start with one of our Single Strain Stackable or Mini Blends varieties, beginning with either half a capsule or one full capsule on dose days. The Flow, Happy, or Zen Blends are also great options for beginners. We do NOT recommend exceeding 250mg per dose for beginners.

We recommend starting with the 1/2 Protocol for beginners. If you feel ready to increase your dosage or frequency, you can switch to the 4/3 Protocol at any time.

Consistency is key! Stick with your protocol for at least 30 days, though we recommend 90 days for optimal results. After completing a 90-day cycle, take a one-week integration break, then continue your journey—because consistency is what creates real, lasting transformation.

If you are currently taking SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors), SNRIs (Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors), St. John’s Wort, or antipsychotic medications, it is important to understand how they may interact with microdosing.

SSRIs, SNRIs, and St. John’s Wort

These substances may influence serotonin levels in the brain. When combined with microdosing, they may lead to serotonin imbalance, potentially causing unwanted effects. If you are considering microdosing or tapering off SSRIs, SNRIs, or St. John’s Wort, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication regimen. 

Antipsychotics & Benzodiazepines

• Antipsychotic medications work by blocking serotonin receptors, particularly the 5-HT2A receptor, which is the primary site where psilocybin exerts its effects. This means that antipsychotics can diminish or completely block the effects of microdosing.
• Benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Valium, Klonopin) are sedatives that may reduce or suppress the microdosing effects, making the experience less noticeable or less effective.

The contents of the capsule have been through a double extraction process to remove the bulk of the inactive mushroom fibers and leave the active ingredient. Unlike many companies, we do NOT use raw dried mushroom ground up in capsules, as it is much less effective and bio-available in that form.

The actual weight in grams of the content of each capsule will not correspond to the “dosage” weight due to the extraction process. But, you can rest assured that the dosage potency of each capsule is as advertised.
For example, a 125mg capsule emptied out will not weigh 125mg on a scale, but is equivalent to the dose you would get if you were to eat 125mg of the fruiting body of the mushroom.

We produce our capsules in large batches based on what is growing at the time. Humidity affects the color of the mushrooms and the overall consistency of the powder inside the capsule. Each batch is tested for potency and consistency to ensure you are getting the correct product each time. Variations in color and texture are to be expected each time.

We recommend a 6-month shelf life for all of our products. The active ingredients are good for one year; however, the edible ingredients, like the chocolate and gummies, will not last as long. You can store them at cool room temperature or in the fridge. DO NOT STORE IN THE FREEZER.

SOL or SUPERSOL should be stored in a cool, dark place, such as the refrigerator.

Great question! What you’re seeing is completely normal and safe.

Our capsules are filled with ultra-fine, “fluffy” powder that has been microprocessed using industrial hammer mills to make the ingredients more bioavailable and easier to digest. Because of this fine particle size, the powder naturally settles over time—especially if stored in one position for an extended period (like in a box or jar for several weeks).

Although the capsules may look less full, they still contain the same weight and potency of product. It’s just more compact from settling—kind of like a slice of bread that gets squished still weighs the same, just looks smaller.

This has no effect on the product’s efficacy or shelf life. In fact, our capsules are among our most shelf-stable offerings—just keep them out of direct sunlight and extreme heat for best results.
