Finding the Right Dosage Amount

Guiding you through the process of finding your optimal microdosing dosage, often referred to as the “baseline dose.” This is the dose where you feel at your best, and ideally, it’s the level you want to maintain for microdosing.

Understanding the Baseline Dose:

The baseline dose is your ideal microdosing amount, where the effects positively influence your mood, creativity, and overall well-being without being overwhelming. Finding this dose is a journey of self-experimentation and careful observation.

Typical Microdosing Dosage Amounts:

Dosages can range anywhere from 50mg up to 500mg. While some people microdose with less than 50mg or more than 500mg, most find their sweet spot between 50mg and 500mg.

Steps to Find Your Optimal Dose:

1. Start with a Small Amount: Begin with a low dosage, as this reduces the risk of adverse effects and allows you to gauge your sensitivity to psilocybin.

2. Maintain Consistency: Stick to your chosen dosage for 2-3 doses before considering any adjustments. This period allows your body to acclimate to the dosage and gives you the chance to observe both short-term and potential long-term effects. If you feel that the initial dose is too strong, it’s important to reduce it immediately.

Consistency in Protocol is also important for all the same reasons. A typical microdosing journey protocol ranges from a minimum of 4 weeks up to 3 months.

3. Journal Your Experience: Keeping a journal to record your experiences is invaluable. Note changes in mood, energy levels, creativity, focus, and other aspects of your mental and emotional state. This record will help you track your progress and make informed decisions about your dosage.

4. Taking Breaks: Regular breaks in your microdosing schedule are crucial to prevent tolerance buildup. This helps ensure that your baseline dose remains effective without the need for increasing amounts to achieve the same experience. Breaks usually last for 1-2 weeks, but listen to your intuition.

Microdosing is a personal journey, and what works for one person may not work for another. Patience and careful observation are key to finding your ideal dosage.
