Part 1
Rediscovering What Lights You Up
There’s something you’ve always known.
Even if it’s buried under burnout. Even if it feels far away right now.
There is something inside you that knows you’re meant for more than just checking boxes and getting through the week.
But somewhere along the way—amidst the noise, the fear, the pressure to do it all right—you forgot what lights you up.
Or maybe… you never got the chance to fully find out.
This is where psychedelics can help.
Not by showing you something new—but by helping you remember what’s always been there.
Psychedelics Don’t Give You Passion. They Clear the Static.
One of the most powerful things psychedelics do is quiet the Default Mode Network—the part of the brain that constantly loops on past experiences, future fears, and self-doubt.
When that chatter slows down, you can finally hear your real self again.
The one who wants to create. The one who loves to play. The one who doesn’t need permission to explore.
Microdosing, especially over time, creates space to feel yourself again. And when you feel yourself again, passion starts to whisper back.
Passion Isn’t Always a Lightning Bolt
Sometimes it’s not a big aha! moment.
Sometimes it’s a slow return. A curiosity here. A desire there. A flicker of joy when you do something just for you.
Follow that.
You don’t need a 10-year plan. You just need to follow the spark.
The clarity will come.
But What If I Don’t Even Know What I’m Passionate About?
You’re not alone. So many people reach a point in their life where they realize:
“I’ve built a life… but I don’t feel alive in it.”
You’re not broken. You’re just disconnected from your inner compass—and psychedelics can help you find your way back.
Try These Passion-Reconnecting Prompts and Practices:
What would I do if I wasn’t afraid?
Fear is one of the biggest blocks to passion. Instead of asking, “What’s realistic?” ask:
“What would I do if fear wasn’t in the way?”
Then take one small step in that direction. Just one.
What makes me jealous—in a good way?
Pay attention to the people you admire. That quiet envy might be pointing you toward your own calling. What is it about their life or work that stirs something in you?
What energizes me—even if it doesn’t “make sense”?
Passion doesn’t always follow logic. Sometimes it’s weird. Sometimes it’s unexpected. But energy doesn’t lie. Follow what makes you feel alive.
What would I create if no one was watching?
So often, we stifle what we truly love out of fear of judgment.
Try asking yourself:
“What would I do if no one was watching?”
And then… do it. Just for you.
Microdosing as a Mirror
Psychedelics don’t “give” you the answer. But they do quiet the noise enough for you to hear it for yourself.
On your microdosing days, spend time listening inward. Journal. Walk. Breathe. Play. Let your body lead. The more space you create, the more clarity will come.
And remember—passion emerges when you feel safe, regulated, and present. It’s not something you find—it’s something you remember.
The Signs You’re Ready to Reconnect
You might be ready for this journey if…
- You feel unfulfilled, even if life “looks good” on paper
- You’ve lost touch with what brings you joy or purpose
- You’re craving more meaning—but don’t know where to start
- You know something inside you is asking to be heard
This isn’t about quitting your job or moving to the jungle tomorrow.
It’s about learning to listen again. To trust your sparks of curiosity.
To reconnect to what you actually want—not what you were taught to want.
